Veteran Disney artist Tim Moen guides students in drawing cartoon characters. Using basic shapes and step-by-step instructions, we will draw a new character each week and improve our understanding of drawing in the process.

Price: $350
In this first-of-its kind class from our program, veteran Disney artist Tim Moen will lead interested students to improvement on their journey in cartoon and/or animation drawing. Students will meet with Tim one-on-one for brief periods of time in each class to identify goals, find areas for growth, and work toward improvement of skills over the course of the workshop. Unlike the step-by-step cartoon drawing class, students will bring their own work and ideas, and work towards developing them. There will also be in-class work time and lecturettes of different relevant subject matter along the way. The price for the class includes materials and supplies. Students will get to keep a drawing kit of professional quality pencils, pens, and erasers.
Maximum of 6 students per class. If more than 6 students sign up, the class may be broken up into multiple classes and re-scheduled as needed.
(Pre-requisites: Must be at least 13 years of age and have taken one of Moen Cartoon’s classes previously. Letter of recommendation from an art teacher and/or personal assessment by instructor may also suffice as pre-requisite. Admission is at the discretion of the instructor. The Performing Arts group of the Fine Arts Academy will be performing "The Lion King Jr." on July 18 & 19. To promote this musical, Moen Cartoon will host a free Lion King drawing class where we will follow along step-by-step to make a drawing of a Lion King character!
